Father-daughter road trip to Barcelona

I was on a holiday with my family at a camping in Sangulí, Spain, when I read about the Joan Gamper Cup. I had actually never heard of it before, and when I saw the place and date, I figured: why not! Maybe there would still be some tickets available. My daughter – who loves football, especially Ajax and Donny van de Beek – was already jumping around with excitement.

At Number 1 Football Travel they helped me very kindly and gave me all the information I needed. It was easily to book everything online, so in no time I had bought myself and my daughter two tickets. I had chosen to upgrade my match tickets, which I didn’t regret at all. We had perfect seats at the stadium. Although Messi wasn’t playing, he did come along so we got to see him after all. It was also amazing to see Frenkie de Jong play – he played a brilliant match and was even named man of the match.

Before the match we had also been to the FC Barcelona Museum, which was also nice. My daughter couldn’t wait to go to the fan shop – I promised here a new outfit – so we didn’t stay there too long. Although we were at the stadium very early, it was very crowded and the atmosphere was fantastic.

All in all it was a fantastic experience and I will definitely be returning to Camp Nou again.
